My name is Mrs. Bhatt and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year! I have been an educator for about 13 years and this is my fifth year at Cabrillo.

I believe that every child is unique and has the potential to achieve academic success. As a facilitator, it is my responsibility to provide students with a challenging curriculum as outlined in the California State Standards. I look forward to an exciting and productive school year at Cabrillo.

My classroom goal is to instill in my students an enthusiasm for learning so that they could achieve academic excellence. Having high expectations of all of my students is another aspect to achieve desired goals. In order to achieve this goal, your support and commitment to your child’s education is necessary. I strongly believe that if you and I work together as a team your child gets the best education.

Here are some ways you can help:
*Celebrate your child’s success, no matter how small it may seem. This will keep your child enthusiastic about learning and proud of their work!
*Read to and with your child every day. The more your child is exposed to language, the easier it will be for him/her to incorporate new skills in reading and writing in the classroom.
